Garatol

A village,situated between Jhanjharpur and Phulparas on the National Highway No. 57,is known for literacy rate-95%. Its geographic situation is unique in the sence that it is surounded by trees from three sides and protected another side by agricultural fields,called as Badh and an artificial water body, called as Maatikorba Dhar.It has envelope economy because more inhabitants are in jobs (Public or Private)and send money to their family.An important festival of this village is Durga Puja.
